How to drive faster
OutRun 2 is very acessible for any new player but as every wonderfull game, it has subtil mechanics to score and be better.
A very important rule in OutRun 2
To go faster, you need to drive as much as possible behind the other cars before passing them.
So when you are behind, you use the SLIPSTREAM to go faster. The word SLIPSTREAM is blinking and the more it blinks, the more you get extra speed and you can easily go over 300km/h.
When you are using the slipstream, the speed indication turns blue.
The mechanics consist of driving as fast as possible, behind the other cars, cross them at the last milisecond and get another slipstream. Of course it's risky because it's easy to touch the car, here is the trick !
This is an expert technique and you will have to master it as well as the drift.
